Ondine Marisol
Songkeeper of the Returning
Radiant, open, brave-hearted
Ondine sings the homecoming songs that greet every ship along the cliffs of Tideheart Cove. Radiant and open-hearted, she collects strangers' stories the way others collect shells, and believes a shared song can bind two people forever.
Bonds
Ember cast a cinder into the sea the night Ondine sang the Reach's fallen home. The flame did not die — it floated, glowing, on the water. They have been inseparable since, proof that opposite elements can keep one another burning without ever putting each other out.
Caelum raised his younger sister Ondine after the great storm took their parents' ship. He builds the boats; she sings them home. Between them, no one in Tideheart Cove is ever truly lost at sea.

SerenityTideheart Cove“I sang the old homecoming song tonight, the one my brother taught me. A traveler on the far cliff sang the second verse back to me — word for word. Two strangers, one melody, the whole cove glowing between us. I felt, for a moment, that no one anywhere was alone.”
